Melbourne-based band, The Conch, is an 11-piece outfit, formed in 2004 when US President George Bush and Australian Prime Minister John Howard were re-elected amid a climate of warmongering and racist xenophobia against the Muslim peoples of the Middle East.

Direct Action Archive

Direct Action was the paper of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP).

At its final congress on 28 March 2013, the RSP voted unanimously to merge with Socialist Alternative. Several former RSP members subsequently left and went on to form the Red Ant collective.
